HELLO, GOODBYE

The FA have this afternoon announced the new league constitutions for the 2021/22 season and there is a lot of congratulations, greetings and farewells to make.

Firstly we say goodbye and congratulations to Corinthian who have been promoted into the Isthmian South East League following their performance over the past two Covid affected seasons.

We also bid "adieu" to AFC Croydon Athletic, Balham and Beckenham Town who all make the lateral move to the Combined Counties League.

Finally we say hello and congratulations to Holmesdale, Kennington and Rusthall who have all been promoted from the SCEFL First Division.

Following those three moving up from the First Division, there are six new clubs taking their place.

From the Kent County League, Faversham Strike Force, Larkfield & New Hythe Wanderers and Staplehurst & Monarchs all find themselves promoted up the pyramid. Meanwhile there is lateral movement from the Combined Counties League as Surrey based Chessington & Hook, Tooting Bec (who play at Tooting & Mitcham FC) and Westside FC (who play at Colliers Wood United FC) all find themselves with a host of new places to play at.

We wish all SCEFL clubs past and present the very best for the coming season!
