Lordswood Football Club have taken the decision to fold their reserve side that have recently been plying their trade in the Kent County League and form a new U23 side that will compete in the inaugural SCEFL U23 development league.
The league will be a midweek league and will consist of the following sides:

Here are the details of the new management team that will be in charge for Lordswood FC u23's for the 2022/23 season.
Danny Harris - Manager
Danny has been involved in youth football for nearly two decades, having started coaching his son's team from mini-soccer all the way through to the Under 21s at Thamesmead Town. He won several league trophies, some unbeaten league seasons and a stellar run in the FA Youth Cup to the third round proper. Since then Danny has managed Bromley Youth teams to consecutive league titles and an unbeaten treble-winning season. For the last 3 seasons, Danny has managed VCD U18/21s and the U23s. Last season the team finished second in the Isthmian Development South.
Paul Taylor - Assistant Manager
Paul has worked extensively in football, a playing and coaching career spanning nearly four decades. Paul has coached at several teams, often being very successful with several of his past players plying their trade in the EFL and more than two dozen appearing throughout the non-league week in and week out. Paul has spent the majority of the last 10 years working alongside Danny Harris as his assistant and matchday expert.
Mick Strain - Goalkeeping Coach
Mick is an expert in the craft and a genuine sage of goalkeeping. Mick has worked throughout the professional game, non-league, amateur and youth over the past four decades. His knowledge of goalkeeping is second to none and any person lucky enough to work with Mick certainly values his coaching and more often than not seeks out extra sessions.
Danny Hill - Coach
Danny has worked throughout various levels of football in various roles, ranging from first-team opposition and player analysis for Stoke City and Wigan Athletic to Manager at Welling United U18's for five years and all roles in between. Danny is currently undertaking a PhD at Loughborough University researching football player valuations using player data. Danny has worked with Danny Harris and Paul Taylor in the role of Head Coach for the past 7 seasons.
Sam Lyburn - Coach
Sam has been involved in youth football and coaching for around a decade and spent most of this time with VCD Athletic in various coaching and managerial roles. Sam spent last season managing and building a new team for Phoenix Sports in the Kent Youth League and previously assisted the VCD U21s with Danny and Paul. Sam is a very experienced and dedicated coach who works tremendously well with the younger players in the group.
